LumberKote™ is the FIRST Non-Toxic, V.O.C. Free Construction Grade Polymer Sealer specifically engineered to dry-down and protect structural framing and subfloor lumber from the natural elements of weather, geography and environmental/biological conditions that cause excessive moisture absorption and rapid moisture uptake.
Prolonged exposure to these unfavorable or extreme conditions weaken or eliminate lumber's structural capabilities. Excessive moisture absorption and rapid moisture uptake can quickly deteriorate and rot lumber, causing further damage to the structure's interior and promotes accelerated growth and damage by wood destroying mold and fungus.
LumberKote™ forms an extremely durable, yet pliable and breathable polymer micro-film, creating an active, responsive physical barrier directly between lumber and the external environment.
Our proprietary Trivium™ Smart Polymer technology utilizes controlled desiccation osmosis to immediately begin drying out lumber and stabilizing the lumber's content to lower, more acceptable levels as humidity levels drop. When humidity or flood waters rise, LumberKote's™ micro-film closes to seal moisture and flood waters out and resists wood destroying mold and fungus.

Does the wood need to be cleaned before applying?
Cleaning before applying LumberKote™ PRO ensures the look of "brand new" stays for decades but is not required, in many cases, by design. Levels and types of mold and fungal growth differ greatly from house to house. Factors include age, soil type, construction, local and regional geography. However, when conditions are considered heavy, cleaning is required. LumberKote™ PRO must be installed directly to the substrate lumber's surface and not on top of previously sealed or painted lumber.
Is there any odor? Can we stay during the install?
There can me a mild smell during install that will dissipate within a few hours. Our dealers utilize exhaust fans during install to aid with overspray and drying. Homeowners can remain home during install. Your representative will discuss any asks or requirements they may have.
Can I buy and apply myself?
